Draaftly for startups and smes
Investor-grade documents without an investor-grade budget
Founders and promoters are asked for a plan, a model and a market view long before there is a team to build them. Draaftly gets you to a document you can defend, and shows you which assumptions to test first.
The founder’s version of this problem
The documents are a condition of the money, and the money is a condition of the team that would write them.
Consultant quotes are out of reach
A full feasibility study or DPR costs more than the stage of the business can justify, so corners get cut.
Template plans do not survive a first question
Downloaded templates produce a document that looks complete until an investor asks where a number came from.
The deck and the model tell different stories
Figures get updated in one file and not the other, and the inconsistency is what gets noticed.
Nobody says which assumption is the risky one
The plan rests on one or two numbers that have never been tested, and they are not labelled as such.

What you walk out with
- A business plan and model that use the same numbers, in formats a lender or investor expects.
- Every figure traceable to a source or a stated assumption, with the gaps labelled rather than filled in.
- A shortlist of assumptions worth testing before you spend money on them.
- Documents you can update yourself when the plan changes, instead of going back to a consultant.
- Practice answering the questions an investment committee tends to ask first.

Questions people ask
Will a bank or investor accept a document I prepare in Draaftly?
We cannot promise that any lender or investor will accept or fund a project — nobody honestly can. Draaftly is built so every figure can be followed back to a source or an assumption, and we recommend a qualified person reviews the study before you submit it.
I have almost no data yet. Is it still useful?
Yes. Where evidence is thin, Draaftly records the gap as a stated assumption and shows how much the plan depends on it, instead of inventing a figure to fill the space.
Do I need finance skills to use the model?
You enter the inputs you know — prices, volumes, costs, funding terms — and the calculation engine produces the statements and ratios. The Excel export keeps the formulas visible for your accountant.
How much does it cost?
Monthly plans with a set number of credits, priced in US dollars, with euro, pound, dirham and rupee available. See the Pricing page for the current plans.
Is my business data used to train AI models?
No. Draaftly never uses your data to train AI models. Our AI providers, Anthropic and Google Cloud, do not use customer data from their commercial services to train their models by default. We explain this in full on our Trust page.
