Why market research is hard to trust
- A single market-size figure from a press release ends up carrying the whole business case.
- Desk research and interviews live in different files, so findings never meet.
- Competitor information goes out of date soon after the report is delivered.

How evidence is handled
The rules that keep your work defensible. How we protect your data
Sized two ways
Market size is estimated top-down and bottom-up, and the report explains why the two numbers differ.
Desk and field research together
Survey results and interview notes are stored as evidence alongside published sources, so findings can be compared.
No invented respondents
Draaftly never makes up survey answers, quotes or interviewees. Primary data only comes from research you actually run.

From public sources such as statistics offices, regulators, company filings and trade bodies, plus documents and data you upload. Each figure is stored with its source, date and page.
Can it run surveys or interviews?
It helps you design surveys and interview guides and analyses the responses you collect. It does not generate respondents or answers.
Is our research data used to train AI models?
No. Draaftly never uses your data to train AI models. Our AI providers, Anthropic and Google Cloud, do not use customer data from their commercial services to train their models by default. We explain this in full on our Trust page.
